About the Author

Who am I?

Well, that’s a rather large question. Just how much time do you have to spare in your day for reading an author biography on some random site that you just happened to stumble upon during your lunch/study/work/whatever break?

Alright, let’s keep it simple then.

Simply put, I am a junior from the mountains of North Georgia, working on my Bachelor’s Degree in English, a transfer to a new school in eastern Ohio. I’m the oldest of six children, and yes, the rest of the kids are boys. No, being the only girl really isn’t that bad. It just means that I’ve had to grow a slightly thicker skin & allow my naturally loud, animated, & stubborn Italian/German personality to shine.

Oh, and I have a pretty decent swing with a baseball bat.

On a slightly deeper level, I’m a girl who is nearly a full-grown woman, & quite honestly, that terrifies me a little bit. But here I am, writing, just to try to make sense of it all in  some small way.

I’ll be real with you – this site might not be the most polished or professional thing you’ve ever read. To be honest, I’m not really sure what it will turn out to be or that I’ll even keep up posting in this format for very long. But, I can promise you that what I write on this site will always be real. I believe in speaking the truth & acknowledging the painful, awkward, & funny things of life along with the good & the beautiful.

Because, in all honesty, that’s what my life so far has been: wonderful, painful, exciting, awkward, confusing, & beautiful.

This is me. This is who I am.

Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m here just trying to do the right thing & to be the best person that I can be.

Thanks for reading my thoughts along the way 🙂
